"More than just the breast"

Cat discovered her love of breastfeeding through her experience of breastfeeding her own child, Jax.

She started her professional journey toward becoming an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), at Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program in Pinellas County as a breastfeeding peer counselor in 2011. There she received mentoring by 3 IBCLCs. Cat became an IBCLC in 2015.

In 2020, Cat recertified for an additional 5 years. Her goal is to provide every family with customized,  real-world advice that applies to each family’s infant feeding goals. “More than just the breast” means that parents should seek support in feeding their baby in all methods, not just breastfeeding.

Even breastfeeding is about more than just the breast.
